    I stand corrected...the Striper regulations do not change Monday...it is Tuesday May 16th that a 20 inch fish is a legal keeper- not the 15th of May...

    in some spots still closed. the flats are open then and from the Brewerton channel south main bay .
    You need a law degree to figure it out
    the maps posted don't match what is written on Dnr's website

      Nearly all of the tributaries (Severn, Magothy, etc.) are all still closed until June 1st as I understand. It is very confusing.

        Catch limit of one fish per person, per day, 35 inches or larger in areas marked as "Open To Fishing" on this map: http://dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries/Pages/map3a.aspx
        Most rivers C&R or Closed and susky flats closed

        May 16 - May 31, 2017
        2 fish per person per day between 20-28 inches OR 1 fish between 20-28 inches and 1 fish over 28 inches in areas marked as "Open To Fishing" on this map: http://dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries/Pages/map4.aspx
        Most rivers still C&R or Closed, some river mouths now open (Chester, Choptank, Pax)
        Susky flats open, but 1 fish per person per day between 20 – 26 inches, no live eels

        June 1 - Dec 20, 2017
        2 fish per person per day between 20-28 inches OR 1 fish between 20-28 inches and 1 fish over 28 inches
        All Maryland Chesapeake Bay waters and tributaries open to fishing http://dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries/Pages/map5.aspx

          Note that while the flats are open May 16, the limit is different. Only one fish between 20-26". The normal limit kicks in June 1.
