Bill- I used to fish off Virginia Beach with the Virginia Beach Sharkers, my fishing partner, Hal Harvey had a 20 foot Wellcraft V-20 that we fished the southeast lumps- that hull was the king of Pearling in heavy following seas, sometimes nearly stopping the boat and tossing your butt- but we kept going out in nasty oceans-dumb asses, I guess- so my tolerance to pearling is very short- although all hulls can pearl under the right conditions...

Went to Backyard Boats in Woodbridge this afternoon. Looked at both yaks, and decided I wanted a stable and roomy fishing yak. I went home with new yellow Outback. Got the turbo fins too. Can't wait to get it on the water

                Thanks for all your comments!

Toys are wonderful aren't they. Next to my Trident, the Outback looks big. Higher and wider. The trays and the roominess are really cool. I'm going to try it out tomorrow morning at the BB.

That red-jacket guy in the video is pretty awesome. He even has a rear-view mirror on his cap. Wonder if we have anyone like that on the Bay.

Congratulations on the new ride!!! Hobie and a trident is a good mix!

I think moc may have more rodholders than halibut but we'd have to count!

Tuf leads the way- I was going to wait until the end of season to see what kind of deal I can make with "Up the Creek" on either a 2011 used Revo or the Outbacks they use for rentals-
