This time of year, I target one of the best eating fish in the Bay...White Perch...minimum size for me is 10 inch perch...perfect size for eating...any way you like fish: fried, broiled, baked, chowder...it is all good. But to Kevin’s post...snakeheads are really good table fare...that is the reason we have them in the USA...they were imported as food, same with talipia...speckled trout and Redfish are especially tasty...Stripers are not as high on my list of table fare..."Lady Luck" 2016 Red Hibiscus Hobie Outback, Lowrance Hook2-7TS

Smoked a few little blues on a Weber gill. Yeah, I know they were little but I was desperate for smoked fish.

Too strong tasting for me...not too bad if cooked the same day.... if you bleed them as soon as you catch them and ice them down right away after catch...big yellow belly tiderunners fight good...but white perch are so much better eating...their cousins are really good table fare...Redfish are really tasty..."Lady Luck" 2016 Red Hibiscus Hobie Outback, Lowrance Hook2-7TS

I caught croaker Friday in OC and ate them Saturday and Sunday. REALLY REALLY tasty and not strong at all in my opinion. It's been several years since I've had them before these recent ones
