We tried the first island for tog and sheeps but didn't have very good results. We were working on a few hours of sleep and I think if I were to do it again I would have spent some time jigging for flounder out there. We timed slack tide a little off too, so that hurt the fishing. It's tough out there when the current is ripping!

Needless to say after 6-3 then 9:45-5:30 I was and still am beat! Grilled Sardine fished Friday night and longer than me Saturday night, I bet heis hurting worse than me!
    Used to fish more.

When I was about ready to launch at HRBT boat launch (Willoughby Spit) Saturday morning, I met Grilled Sardines and Capt Luke coming in. At 6:30 am. They said they were fishing since about 9-10 pm

I'd like to hit HRBT for some Thursday night fishing, but not alone. Meeting you guys Friday night would be good too.

I stopped to get some ice and as I was heading back I saw you pulling in! Did Martin make it back out?

Yes, he was in the water about 9:30 am. I think he caught toads and seabass, maybe blues. I told him I caught blues and seabass and didn't catch any croakers at the 1st island, so he tried and had no luck with croakers too. He later showed me his night's catch - some nice fat croakers.

He went out with Shield and Adventure Island Keith that morning. They caught blues, seabass and toads.
