I was talking to Moc and we were thinking to leave BPS around 1:00 figure that give some time to run in and get that last minute "I can't fish without this thing"
That would put in Hampton before any rush hour traffic.Jim

I'm in for an 11am meet up on Friday at BPS and convoy down.
I also want to fish the Kiptopeke/Cape Charles area. Been looking at the charts and on the east side there's a nice channel surrounded by shallow water between Skidmore and Smith Islands. That looks very interesting. The marsh areas could be productive for specs and reds.
Looks like there's a launch at the end of Ramp Rd. Possible other launch sites at the end of Dixon Dr and Bulls Dr. Anyone know these areas?
Memory Maker always mentions Latimer Shoal on the west side. What say you, Rick? Where should we fish?
Of course, where to fish will be dictated by the wind speed and direction!

Sorry to have to miss this one. Hope you guys do well & some MKF'ers come up winners.
BTW, the BPS in Hampton also carries a great selection of saltwater tackle. Oceans East has a good array of Mirrolures.
Suspending peelers or fresh mullet under a float can up your odds while you cast artificials.
good luck,
