    Carson:

I'd like to join as well. Never fished that far up the Severn. Let me know the details!

      Sounds good.

We are going to launch into Brewers creek, then go over to Brewers pond. The ramp is nicer in the creek. Roughly one mile to get to the pond. I will send out a PM later this evening to everyone that has responded with info. (For obvious reasons I don’t want to publish the gate code on a public forum).

If anyone else want to come just let me know and I will PM you.

Brewer's Creek is fine. There, Brewer'sPond, and Hopkins Pond, plus Maynadier Creek are locations where Woody Tillery developed his original Spinner Jigs. I copied a lot of my ideas from him.
I was thinking Brewer's Creek so we could spread out more, so that should work out well.

I probably won't go out on the main Severn unless it is very calm, since I will be in a canoe. Those who are more adventurous, or in more suitable craft can explore a bit more.

Have a great time everyone. This should be a fun event. I cannot make it since I have to work and only have weekends and late week day afternoon to fish.

Just a reminder that the M&G is this Monday. Weather looks nice and the wind looks calm.

Perch fishing has been pretty good in the creek, as for rockfish in the main river, I will report back tomorrow.

                  Hope to see everyone there.

I am unlikely to arrive by 5:30. I hope to get there between 6:30 and 7:00. Thanks to Carson for setting this up.

John, you and Stu will be both get here a little later. That is no problem, we can stick around in Brewers creek until you show up.

I prepared a series of maps and description for fishing locations in the section of the Severn where Carson has scheduled this meet and greet. I already sent this short document to the guys for whom I know email addresses. For others who plan to fish tomorrow, send me a pmail with your email address, and I can send the same file to you.

I’d really LOVE to join. I’m even playing hooky tomorrow and fishing all day. Only issue is that I have to drop my daughter at daycare in the AM which would cause me to miss the launch by about 2 hrs.

I cannot wait to get the reports and pictures. I would be interested in seeing how good the perching is now in that area.
