I don't want to spot burn, but I can say that the concentration of them is very high on the east. If you really want to catch one, live minnows under a float would be your best bet. You can catch them on the same lures as bass. I personally like throwing hollow body frogs, swim frogs, swimbaits, inline spinners, whopper ploppers, and buzz baits to name a few. If the tide is high, the bite can be tough because they will get way back into cover where you can't reach them. I target weed edges and look for openings with in the weeds. Remember that they can get into really skinny water, so go way back into a place you wouldn't normally think of going. Always keep an eye out on the surface for them sipping air, bubbles, or fry. You will have a lot of missed strikes and throw hooks. That's part of what makes them so exciting to catch. It took me a few trips to catch my first one.
