I was finally able to get out and spend a little time on the water this morning.
I hit Weems Creek a little after 9 to a very low tide.
Water clarity was so-so, about 1 foot and stained, but no evidence of the mahogany tide of the previous month.
The low tide showed that there is still quite a thick batch of milfoil in places.
Fishing my usual chartreuse spinner jig and experimenting with a modified Kastmaster spoon, I managed to have a decent day, perhaps 20-25 White Perch in an hour and half.
About 1/2 of the perch were 7 -8 inches, the rest were smaller.
