Peddle vs trolling motor?

Just wondering why no one has mentioned the Old Town Sportsman Autopilot in this discussion. All you need is a battery, everything is pre wired, no drilling. Spot lock technology. The investment is stiff though at $3799.99 excluding the battery.

Besides the 3800.00 add ~8-900 for a 100ah lith deep cycle battery, you are over 4500.00
Then there is the complexity, all fine and good when it is new and under warranty, but what happens once it is out of warranty,, remote, gps, servos, motor, etc.

For guys that do use trolling motors on their yaks,, they are taking a ~100-200 trolling motor and clamping it to a mount and going,,

Think about a Nucanoe frontier. you can easily add an outboard or a trolling motor or both at same time.
