Anybody kayak fish Wachapregue for spring flounder?

    Count me in for a few early trips. I may start in April, see if I can do a rock/tog/fluke trip.
    Used to fish more.

      A 23' Parker would work just fine there. The channels are plenty deep -- this is the main access point for the large boats heading offshore. I have fished for flounder from 24-25' Gradys on days when it was too rough to head offshore. When I owned a 23' Parker, I did not have a towing vehicle strong enough to pull it, so I did not do any road trips with it.

      Last summer, I made my first Ocean City flounder trip with Southerly and cbkayak02. We caught plenty of undersize flounder drifting with the current or anchoring up near the Rt 50 bridge. I don't have any idea if flounder are common there in March, as you originally mentioned. They definitely are at Wachapreague then. The local tackle shop holds a tournament.
