I say go with the traditional second sat of the month for a M&G. Just my 2 cents.
Can't you tell I'm not big on tradition? I don't care either way. Sounds like most of you are available for either Sat so lets call it for Sat the 12th (just for Moc ) Looks like we may have to do the BBQ at my house due to possible "domestic approval" issues with my buddy's place. I am only 20 minutes from the launch and I have a big yard.

LOL....just for Moc, I was only trying to be consistant since most of the members who chimed in were good, as you pointed out, for either Sat. I know I spoke so some other members if they were going, but they commented that they had worked their "management approval" around the 2nd Sat of each month when we set the schedule back in Jan at the Jan M&G at Dave and Busters. So that is why I chimed in. Do you see any crabbing boats running a trotline at Herring Bay in May? I wonder if it will be too early to get crabs there. It would be good to bring a bushel to the feast.
I ran a trotline from a 12 ft flat bottom with a trolling motor on it in Herring Bay all the time as a kid. There is also a pond behind a very small bridge that is directly connected to the bay via this inlet. I used to crab in the pond, and catch MONSTER Rockfish, blues, and flouder from the bridge. Monsters where in fall, but always possible.
Count me in for the meet in greet, it will probably be my first. Naysayer are you 20 min north or south? My parents house is in Sunderland, I grew up on Boyds Trail.

I'm in for the 5th and the BBQ. I will be away at school for my annual Paramedic Refresher on the weekend of the 12th. I'm sure we can catch just about anything that time of the month. Resident schoolies are always good and ussually at least limit in size. Nothing wrong with Blues and Flounder either!!! There are normally decent sized fish of all species all around that area all year long.

I was just kidding Moc. You bring up a good point, we should keep some consistency. Sorry Medic-the 12th it is. I guess I'll have to find another Cinco de Mayo BBQ to go to
Crabbing should be good around there at that point. I'm only going by hearsay as I don't crab much.
MDFishin-20 min NW-ish. I'm in Lothian off of 408. Do you know Matt (CBKayak02)?

Yup, that is it. Parking is limited at the park so we will have to park on the roads in the neighborhood across the street. I have checked with my buddy that lives there and there are no rules against parking there in the neighborhood. I would advise against trailers if possible, but do what you gotta do.
