I flew back late last night from Maine and was just too tired to get up this morning and drive to the Eastern Shore for flounder fishing...hope springs eternal, but being 66 creeps up on you with a dose of reality- I just don't have the energy to do what I did a few years ago- stay up all night, drive three hours, fish all day and drive home- so today, I will prepare for my trip tomorrow to the Eastern Shore- rested and refreshed-
Next week is opening day of the spring striped bass trophy season, so this is my one spring flounder trip to scope out new waters and try to bring home a nice big, fat doormat-
Question is does anyone want to join me in Stockton, MD (George Island Landing)? Get there early and fish the falling tide all morning into the early afternoon?
