      July M&G

I should be able to make it out to the M&G at Mattingly Park, especially since it is literally 3 minutes from my house.

I just fished there this morning for a few hours, caught a couple of LM Bass down the small creek next to the island. The catfish bite wasn't very productive today. Although I did catch a towel fish!

Here's another pic of the park.

Hope to make it, I've been getting more acquainted with the area this year and seem to improve my results each time I go...

July Meet & Greet, Mattawoman Creek

I can take the guideboat, the same that i use for mothership/ferry service and probably can get a couple of Hobie demos for folks to try out, if you guys see any value in doing that .

                      I'll Try

I'll try to make it with my 14 year old son. We will launch from the 225 bridge and fish the top end. I'll post back once I'm know we're definite.

                        Capt,

Mattingly park has the Up the Creek Rentals place that anyone can rent kayaks from if you are unable to get Hobie demos. I think they are $20 for 2 hours so if people want to bring guests that do not have kayaks that place is always available. They do have Hobie's available, I want to say they are the Mirage Revo's.

Thanks for setting this M&G up. I’m probably not going to make it though; I’m leaving for vacation the next day. If I can make it early for a short trip I will post on here.

I'm gonna try to make this get together. I'm such a newb at this its scary. Hopefully by then my yak will have been wet a couple times.

Indian Head is not too far from me and I could use to learn some stuff from you guys.
