My coworkers and I are planning to go to Mattawoman Creek for the 1st time. I will be in my Sea Eagle paddleski. We will be there early (6am) to get an early start. We will be on the hunt for snakeheads bass and catfish. My only fear is that there my be alot of brush that could puncture my sea eagle. Can anyone fill me in on the conditions in the water and if there is anything for me to fear?

Greg and I will be there, but probably not for lunch. We have a 2 hour ride from where we meet."If you can't have fun doing it, it ain't worth doing." ... or you're just doing it wrong.

I might be there after lunch too. My best fishing at Mattawoman has been at sunset.
I'll have some bunker if anyone's interested. Big cats love 'em. Find me on the water (white hobie, orange box) if you want some.
