Matt, I'm heading to OC tomorrow with the family and we are taking our kayaks. I plan to do some flounder fishing and hopefuly find a spot to do some Spec. fishing. shoot me a PM I have a spot you could keep your PA if you come.

I'm going to stick with Monday. It's less pressure on the water hopefully people will be at work.

I wanted to go down south in the creeks to fish for specks but can't seem to get anyone interested and I hate to fish by myself- dodging thunderstorms might not be any fun Friday afternoon- I might join you at the Creek Friday, Matt-

So I plan to head down Friday afternoon with Capt. Luke and get there around 4:30pm.

I was the only one on the water yesterday, and couldn't buy any fish, the front really shut them down. Saw a bunch of SH and Spooked just as many. Only caught 1 14inch bass

Where did u put in at? And how long did u stay out/ how far did u float?

At Slavins.. floated up creek a couple of miles. we fished from 4:30 until about 8:30

We will be putting in at 224/225/hawthorne and heading down. I really want to hit those upper forks. We will be out there all day from about 530 till sometime in the evening. So who knows where we will end up or how far we will float. And on another note hopefully the fish won't be as finicky as they were when u went. They have a few more days to acclimate.

Probably had to do with the temperature drop. I know atleast at my house it was low 70s all day if that, that's a good 20 degree drop. Probably had them all spooked and confused.

Tomorrow should be much better. Myself, Richard (creolo25), Kaye (Kitkatyaker), and maybe Don (Biggrizzly), will be down launching out of Slavins/Mattingly tomorrow morning. Tight lines and I hope to see you guys on the water.
