Here's a list directly from the camp. This is for their summer kids camp but it does list bedding, pillows and many other personal items that should give everyone that has booked a cabin a good idea.

We'll come up with something at the spur of the moment. Last year, Metroman was the very first registrant for the very first CBKA tournament. Jimbo caught a nice flounder which was a surprise considering all the rain. Both received a special prize just because... :-)

This year being a dry summer we expect some surprises. We're already seeing lots of puppy drum. I'm sure there will be others. Good chance of flounder. Maybe spanish macs to the Bay Bridge? Bigger bluefish? Who knows. Get out there and jig up one of those surprises and we'll see what happens!

It's only $25 to stay in the bunkhouse for 2 nights. That's what I'm doing.

Yeah there is like a whole soccer field plus of grass for camping, has a bonfire area too!!

Make-a-Wish sent 42 kids to London for the Olympics. The largest group they have sent anywhere in their history. Even if you're not interested in the Olympics this clip is worth a look. It's a short, powerful piece that demonstrates how signing up for a local kayak fishing tournament helps these kids. Take a look:

We are at 44 registrations. That's about a dozen more than last year! So far. The Make-a-Wish Director told me specifically that if it wasn’t for groups like ours, granting these wishes would not be possible. Thanks to all who have signed up. To those that haven't yet, there's plenty of room at the camp and in the bay and plenty of time to sign up! Just think of the chatter on TF from boaters when 40+ kayakers descend on the Bay Bridge!

Wow, we are up to 50 registered Kayakers! Thanks to all of you for supporting our charities! In response to the overwhelming participation in putting us ahead of last year's tournament success, We are extending the $55 registration price for ONE WEEK, and one week only. So hurry up and register for the tournament before the price have to go up to $70 on August 22nd. Again, thanks for your participation in this second annual Kayak Fishing Tournament for Charity.

For those of you who are going to try to win one of the three Crabbing Division Prizes, don't forget to bring your crab cages, and hand lines to catch the largest crab (Measured point to pint of the crabs body shell.). September and October are the best times to crab on the Bay and its tributaries. Trotlines are not permitted for the tournament.

Remember there is a crabbing division this year for the first time! There are prizes for first , second, and third place. So If you catch a crab on your fishing line, take a clear picture of it with your tournament ruler before releasing it (yes, like the fising division, only catch and release species will count). Also, don't forget to bring a crab ring or trap to catch you whopper crab.... It may be the most valuable crab that you ever caught.
