I'd be up for grilling or going to a restraunt/bar... Probably leaning towards grilling there though.

I'd say lets do some grilling if the weather is nice on saturday! We can always plan on a bar or other eating establishment if the weather is on the damp side. I have a little fresh venison backstrap that would be pretty tasty on the grill I am also going to bring some gear for surf fishing friday night. Good fishin

More stuff to bring!! But I'd really like to get into some flats stripers on the fly. Will give this a try.

Hey all, Don't forget you need a Delaware non-resident fishing license. You can get a 7 day pass online for $12.50.

              Don't do it too soon!

Man... no kidding... more stuff to pack! Oh well should be fun, I suck at flycasting sitting down, maybe it won't be too rough and I can stand up... we'll see.

I was thinking about going out in the yak if I get there early enough Friday, would parking at the pier and walking to the left or right of it and dragging the yak down the path be the most advised launching spots? Cant wait!

i like wheeling to the right side, if you have a cart if not the left side through the trees is sandy to drag the yak to the beach.

ha! i thought that would get you fly guys

                      whew back up!

grilling, ill pick up plates, knives and forks and condiments. bring what ever you want to grill hopefully we will have some fresh fish to grill also.

try to meet at the pier at 0630 and launch around 7-730 and meet back at the parking lot by 100. if to windy/rough we can go to the ramp in lewes and fish the canal/inlet out of the wind, alot of good fishing there too

jumping between day and evening shift this week so i tmight take a little bit to get back to you

man i hate that I'm missing this trip

I will need plenty of pics posted here after the event for my fix. I'm having withdraws all ready and its only been 3 days since i was on the water last. Now i have to wait 2 weeks to get the chance again

I'm excited too MetroMan. i'm hitting the surf early Friday morning, meeting Thomas H. at the pier at that evening, Surfnsam should be there by then so I will hookup with him also. I'll already be at the beach when you two get there, so give me a call, Mytmouse has the cell number.

Don't go too crazy in Basspro on your way there :-)

mike, just read report in the fisherman mag. that a guy fishing in the old inlet tourney caught a 42" red drum from the surf probably from 3Rs rd south of IRI. might blow off work friday and come down early hitting the store to get stuff for grilling tonight.
