I'll just have to run that risk and explain it in court!

ok, up to y'all. I'm hoping to try a warm spot just north of the bridge too.

Not sure where the exact line falls but the first piling looks to be in DC waters. The DC marker is south of the bridge maybe 50 yards down on the bank. I have heard of DC cops giving tickets to people fishing in that corner. It may be an urban myth. On the flip side I can't see DC paying to send out a boat to check this early in the season.

The warm water discharge is 1.5 miles from the floating dock an easy trip unless the winds pick up out of the west, makes for a real choppy ride.

In case anyone cares the actual boundary is the bridge--and the cops are typically out on the weekends only this time of year.

bring the smelly bait to the discharge area and in the waters just to the west of it and you can catch some big carp 20+ lbs (but dont be surprised if they ruin your light tackle reels...fight like crazy)

Nice, what size fish were you bringing in?

I have found the bigger fish 18"to 33" on the out going tide and smaller 17" to 19" fishon the incoming tide.

I am going to try andget out there Saturday.

Reviewing for editing now. Hope to have it produced by tonight's end, but I'm drinking right now lol. Out of respect for rockchaser & echo5fan, I'll only be posting the vid here, and not other forums.

Jim, 16-23" range, outgoing...right on the pylon. All eating size, so I'm ok with that.

Tally was 12 cats, 28lbs at the weigh in for cleaning

My eta for tomorrow morning is 7:30-7:45am. Gotta drop my daughter off at daycare first.

Hell, that floating dock will be getting more and more use for sure as fellow yakers hear about it. I will be hitting saltwater ASAP anyway so no worries. The best thing about the site is it's only 20 minutes from my house so I can run up for short trips.

You missed out, Matt. They were loving the chicken. Shadyfisher85 is still out there feeding them.
