J.A Veil - Thanks for the info on the Mini. It seems that Mini X will make a good grab and go fishing.
AbuMasgouf - There are many many way to cook Snakeheads and almost all of them will come out good. My mom cook very good traditional Vietnamese sweet and sour soup with Snakehead, and the Fish in a clay pot. But I'm a bad cook so I can't teach you. I think the best and easiest way to cook Snakeheads is sticking a stick through its mouth and cook it over the fire. The slime and scales will protect the meat inside and keep it moist. When it's done, just peel away the scales and that will leave you with all the white meat, season it with some salt, pepper and maybe some lemon juice and you're good to go. You can also throw them on the grill. There are many way you can cook Snakeheads and it will be just fine. I love cooking it over the fire though, very easy, simple, perfect when you go camping. You can go fish for Snakeheads and cook them that way for lunch, just pull over to shore and make a fire.
I'm really confused about purchasing a kayak now, I think I want a little more well round, stable kayak. I think I will try to demo as many as I can before picking one. If anyone know where I can demo Mini X, Ride 115/135 around Woodbridge, VA. I would greatly appreciated.
Btw, I heard a guy caught 5 or 6 Snakeheads last week at Occoquan. I want to know what kind of baits he used. I heard that Snakeheads only strike plastic frog after they spawn. I caught one using 3" swim bait and I have no luck with plastic frog as of yet.
