The next Meet & Greet is coming up on Saturday June 8th at Mattawoman Creek. Most people will launch from Mattingly Park Boat ramp on Mattingly Ave in Indian Head, MD but there is also another launch further up the creek. The target species are bass, snakeheads, catfish, perch, crappie, sunfish, carp, and anything else that will bite! Lunch will be at Grinders Seafood in Indian Head afterwards, which was great last year. Let's get a running list of who's attending so I can let them know how many to expect. Here's some information that Mike posted last year that should help out if you're not familiar with the Mattawoman.
Launch Options
- Mattingly Park: Lots of parking. Boat ramp. Kayak rentals. Directions: Take MD 210 South all the way to the end. Turn left on Mattingly Ave just before the Naval Base. Take Mattingly Ave all the way to the end.
- 225 Bridge: See map below.
