  • Anyone get hacked on snaggedline???

Just ~ an hour ago on my home computer, when I log on to snaggedline.com I get the message, "Hacked by LastTouch" and the next line says, "LastTouch@hachermail.com". Then I can't get to anywhere in snaggedline.

    ALL OTHER WEBSITES WORK GREAT!

So I went to the local library and got the same message without even logging into snaggedline first. Then tried kinda doing an end run to snaggedline and finally got in to post this message.

Anyone else having this problem? Seems to be restricted to snaggedline only. So, who got hacked... my computer or snaggedline????

I think your computer at home is hacked. I'm in with no problems..

I get the message on snaggedline.com. I can access if I google and click a different quick link extension from snaggedline.com

Read carefully... I said I got the same "hacked" message on the library's computer too and I didn't even log in my screen name nor my MKF site password at the Library. So the library's computer didn't know who I was.

The end run I did was go to gmail, pull up an old email from MFK saying I have a new personal message on MKF. Then I clicked on the www.snaggedline hot link within gmail and that took me to this site OK. But if I try to go to MKF directly from my "Favorite's List" I get the "hacked message".

It looks like the main page for Saggedline has been hacked. I can link right to the forums but not the main page. Your home/library systems are fine.

Thanks. That's pretty much what I thought when I got the same "hacked" message at the library's computer.... but I wasn't sure.

I can get into the "Activity Stream" because I have that saved as an entry point. Once there all other capabilities work.

However if I try to enter the URL via Firefox or IE I get a message that says the site is under construction.

Strange world indeed. My message just changed from "you been hacked" to now just "under construction". Maybe corporate headquarters of snaggedline.com is working on this issue.

Probably some teenage kid with good computer skills. I don't get why they would want to hack a fishing forum website. Perhaps just learning the skills. I don't get why some of these hackers don't try to do something else with their skills, like try to hack some of the Chinese, Iranian, Syrian, Russian and North Korean hacker's computers (the people that hack our Gov't, financial and business servers on a day to day basis) and throw some havoc their way instead of hacking pages that are really not of any value to hack into.

You're making the assumption that the hackers are American and not from one of the countries you listed.
