Where you putting in, and what time.. I've never fished for crappie but whatever as long as I'm out somewhere.

It looks like the winds are going to be pretty stiff tomorrow, building in the afternoon. I would still like to try for some white perch out in the deep water out near Solomons. I may try around 9 or 10 tomorrow morning if the winds look ok. It's a short run to where the fish were holding about this time last year. Let me know if anyone would be interested.

I might try and get out to Occoquan for some crappie. Not sure if I have time to make it out but the wind doesn't faze me. The water clarity should be more of a problem for if it is too murky the fish can't find my lure.

Sorry, fell asleep early. I'm actually thinking about the other part of Occoquan. Launching from Occoquan Regional Park around 10:30-11 if anybody wants to join.

LOL.... I ended up at lake Brittle... The best part of my trip was testing out and setting up the braking systems on my new gear.. not a bump in 3 hours. What a miserable little mudhole! still better than not fishing at all though.. Hope someone else had better luck.

I only caught 1 crappie near the 95 bridge. Some guy in a boat was catching stripers, crappie, and cats on live minnows. I spent most of my time trolling for stripers. Need to get some live minnows next time. I found a spot near the launch where you could just use a dip net and get a bunch.
