I tried there, but only a couple of small fish so I didn't stick around too long. Went back to trolling and back to catching fish. I'm thinking the warm weather this weekend got the fish active and spread them out. I stopped trolling halfway back to the launch and was still catching fish. I was losing light so I pulled up the lines to high tail it home.
Sorry I could not get out your in my back yard and I had to work. I did rather well this past fall in that area. (Are you coming to Bass Pro 3-1 or 3-2)

Wow look at those bellies! Those fish are obviously gorging themselves on those shad. Great job finding these fish in this cold water.

I think they are laden with eggs moreso than food. They should be setting up for the spawn in a couple of weeks.

Hey man...something going on at BP on those dates? I work right around the corner. I may head over Tuesday after work.

They were MH rods with Shimano Sonora Reels. I use those rods all year round...in fact, used 'em for perch yesterday.

That is pretty encouraging. Hopefully we will have stripers moving up the bay sooner rather than later.

Those are some ridiculously fat looking fish. Alan the grin says it all. Looks like I should have skipped the M&G on saturday to look for stripers instead!

Yak Fish - Very nice looking fish. The fatness of that one striper could indeed be the result of being stuffed with gizzard shad and other smaller fishes.

Due to this looong cooold winter I haven't wet a line for many weeks. I'm dying to catch anything. Next decent day I may have to check out the HH-WWD. I haven't heard any rumors of action there... but you never know for sure if you don't go.

I think it's about time I get my ass off the couch! Time to end the gap between archery and fishing season.
