After having no bites in the Severn during April, things turned around today. I will add another post in the Maryland section about my striper catches today. I did a quick check to see if the white perch were at one of my spots, but had no interest.
The water color and clarity in the Severn main stem was quite good today, but there was quite a bit of plant debris in the water.John Veil

I fished the Mattawoman this morning. The water is a little muddy, but other than that it is good to go. There were quiet a few boats on the water. Didn't catch anything but that's ok. A boat next to me pulled in a 7 to 8 pound snakehead.
