I’m excited to finally share the project I’ve been working tirelessly on. Putting in hours before and after work for the majority of the year, I’ve put together a book just for us. It was about time that someone wrote a book on Kayak Trolling the Chesapeake Bay! I worked a bit with Jeff Little for writing advice as well as being a sounding board for the topics I discuss.
I keep no secrets in this book. I show where I fish, what I use and how I use it. I’ve even included a chapter specifically on the Susquehanna Flats, many of which are my personal maps that show the underwater topography not shown on any nautical chart. I think it’ll be a valuable piece of info to have for the annual Jamboree event.
There’s an in depth comparison between Hobie, Native and for those that want to paddle, Wilderness Systems Kayaks, as well as gear setups for each style.
So, I’m excited to bring this to you guys, and I give the site a lot of credit. We can see so much further by standing on each others’ shoulders. It’s not available for purchase just yet. I’ve got proof books coming from the publisher that I need to approve before they go into print. That process may take about a week.
The book will sell through Amazon. I’m also going to try setting up a Facebook page where it can be purchased through me because Amazon’s fees on each book sold are really high. If you buy them through the Facebook page, I’ll personally ship and autograph each one.
I’ll need to put up some money and purchase inventory, but before I do that who’s interested in one? I promise you guys will love it. Please let me know so that I can get an approximate count. I hate to order a hundred books when I can only sell one
I’ve included some screenshots of the book so you know what you’re getting.
162 Pages, paperback, $18.99 + $2 shipping...that should be $2 cheaper than Amazon's standard $4 shipping, if you buy it through me.
