          Gregg,

So, I've been in your shoes. Had a minor stroke three years ago. It manifested itself a bit differently . . . extreme vertigo, weakness, couldn't walk. The result was the same - I got my first ambulance ride. Well long story short . . . you can almost 100% recover. After about 6 weeks of rehabilitation I was doing much better but I knew I had to make some lifestyle changes. I retired (cause I could) so I lost lots of stress, I also lost 30 lbs. I exercise at least 1 hour a day. I figure there are 24 of them I can take one for my health. Today very few people can recognize that I have had a stroke and except for a few minor balance problems from time to time I forget that I had one too. You and I are lucky - we got a warning in the form of a minor stroke - take heed because the big smack down is not good.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, I was moved out of ICU this morning and doing much better. The nurse had me up walking the halls last night and I climbed a flight up stairs I'm feeling much better today. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!

Get well soon. My boss had a heart attack several months ago. He is now back and doing well. With all the medical wonders we have today, there's plenty of hope.
