I really like the big rig pro.I wonder how bad it would be to paddle upstream in the upper susky though?

Paddled my big rig on the upper susky back in June. Had a moken 12 before that and to be honest it was about the same. They track really well.

My problem is I never have a shuttle/ float partner so I always have to a paddle up drift back.did you paddle against current? And by upper susky I mean above Harrisburg.

I heard you can put an order in on the Kraken, will not get a firm price or delivery day.

It looked to me like delaware paddlesports already had them in stock.

Not the Kraken, only for pre order. If you could get one, those boys would have it.

Yeah, I see now. I was on the mobile site and did not see that they are still not going to production until october.

It looks pretty similar to the new thresher, but I would pay a little more to get a kayak from a company that actually stands behind their products. If Wilderness does not give me a new seat for my ride under warranty, they have lost me as a customer forever. They should really be giving everybody with a current model ride or tarpon the new new hatches and seats they are coming out with to replace the defective ones they sold everybody.

For a paddle yak, Jackson is the Bomb. I bought a used Cuda 14, no warranty, had trouble with the rudder cables, they sent me new cables, no charge. yes they stand behind what they make.

What's wrong with your seat? I'm familiar with the hatch issues.

Seat back broke and I currently have it rigged up with zipped ties. They are saying they won't cover it under warranty, but I insisted that the store contact them again because I really think that is bs. The seat cushion on the bottom has been falling off since the first week I bought it. The replacement retainer washers they sell just tear right through the seat. I got some larger plastic retainer washers, and they don't pull through but they also come loose from the plastic all the time. If they don't at least give me the voucher and a discount on the new max seat or maybe just give me a replacement on the old one, I am done with them forever.

They know the hatches were defective from the beginning. They have finally redesigned them, but I have doubts as to whether even the new ones are watertight. The current seats on the ride are a pretty good design, but have a couple major design flaws that will cause failure. They should step up and give everybody that owns one of their kayaks new hatches and seats either free or heavily discounted.
