            [QUOTE=Redfish12;14555]mmanolis2001 - surf rods? [QUOTE]

            Actually i cut one of those Live bait blanks i showed you down two make a tile fish rod. I took 8" off the tip and 4" off the but to make a stump puller matched to a 30lb class reel to winch tile fish from 300ft of water.

            I'm also finishing up a musky blank to match to my Avet for any rouge cobia that might be late on there migration north. I should at least hang a lip of a shark out front with it if the cobes are gone. Maybe a hungry king mac on a live snapper blue (Main reason for my Live well build).

            Just gotta get my way thru the surf zone.

              Sounds like an epic trip. I need to learn your rod turning ways, thanks again for trying to help. Maybe we can pick it up again in December?
