Like I said before, you're becoming quite a machine.
That's the kind of day I'd like to have. Maybe one day.... You'll have to tell us the secret to finding those blitzes.2015 Hobie Outback (yellow)

i'm surprised your cast net didn't pull up a bunch of 3-4" YOY rock mixed in. i've been picking at similar school with similar results but haven't cot a blue over 12" yet.
i think the anchovies are the startof the little food chain i've been playing with, so i've been mostly using kastmasters. the 1/4 oz size hooks up faster because anybody can get on, but 3/4 oz casts a lot farther, sinks faster, and helps keep the little guys off. regardless, i typically see 6-12 little rock following the lure just before i pull it out of the water. the weird part is people aren't talking about this on other forums.
ps - i haven't given up on bigger ones, just haven't had time to get out after them the past couple days.Last edited by Southerly; 08-22-2011, 07:28 AM.

I remember when I was 13 I'd be out mostly catfishing the local creek, sometimes going for largemouth bass. I wish I had access to saltwater like you do at that age. Consider yourself lucky, you'll learn a lot. I guess the schoolie stripers are in already, figured they wouldn't be around for another month or so.2010 Hobie Revolution 13
