Depends on where you live and your tolerance to “road trips”...Lynnhaven Inlet, Back River, Buckroe, HRBT Ft. Wool...James River Bridge...Rudee Inlet...for us SMOG... we usually stick close to our “comfort zone” although Yak67 took the Rudee plunge a while ago...anywhere you go can have an “off day” and you would swear there isn’t a fish within 50 miles...getting to know the waters where you fish is the answer to success...no one knows it all...no one...finding the right combination of tide conditions, structure, weather conditions, lure selection, technique of the presentation and landing and release all come from repetition and practice...you can watch You tube videos until Hell freezes over and not be successful...you can read every book in the library...nothing will ever replace time on the water...pick a proven fishing location that you can access with regularity and just go...if there are any secrets to success that is the number one...
