Hard to predict the effects...figure there are billions of gallons of daily flow coming into and out of the tidal waters of the bay...I am sure the salanity levels of the middle bay will take a big drop, but will our southern Maryland waters drop enough to run the salt water species off? We will have a lot of on shore flow due to wind too. That may help to push oceanic salty water into the mouth of the bay
