Severn river lately?

I lived on the Severn from 1989 - 2001, we would catch strippers in the middle severn slow trolling aJon boat along the edges of docks, typ the fish were in the 16-22" range, with some upto 26-28"
Last time I fished the Severn was around 2000.
Has the river (or fish) changed?

I’ve had similar experiences to the posts above. Perch are plentiful, but I haven’t caught much in the way of stripers aside from a few shorts. There’s always the occasional 5lb channel cat, but I really don’t target stripers in the Severn anymore outside of September and October.
