For what it's worth, I thought strippers fed heavily at dusk and just before the sun comes up. I've been out 3 times well before light breaks and havent caught a single one before light. There earliest was 7:30 and today the first was 8:30...plenty of sun in the sky. I'm starting to think waking up early is overrated

trolling 4 rods. Id like to see that in action with all knockdowns. The most ive done is 3 and the only way to keep the tangles from happening was to spread out the lure depths and whenever multiple knock downs happen I maintain forward momentum with the hobie and drag the other two until i can deal with them.Interstate Kayak Fishing

I always fish tides and current, rockfish feed more at this time. Look for points and drop offs and try to mimick the bait fish as they get swept over these areas and you will do well but dont give up if your not getting bites remember rock fish eyes are on the side and they dont always see bait/lures comming straight at them so make sure you fish an area from differant angles. Once you figure out all this out tides, current, and patterns it will be easier to go out and fish a certain area.
