I fished again this morning before driving home. I spent nearly six hours on the water and had to deal with winds over 10 mph. I caught a 15" redfish and a 12" trout to go with a bunch of stripers, perch, and bluefish to record my second southern MD Slam in four days. With the exception of one hour on Tues, during which we caught one fish after another, it took a lot of time and effort to find the fish.

Looks like John and Nick left a few fish for the rest of us after all...
I had a productive day in SOMD today, landing 8 different species for a total of nearly 50 fish. 6 specks (16", 19"), 17 stripers (18"), 14 bluefish (14.5"), 5 perch, 3 needlefish, 3 lizardfish, 1 cownose ray, and 1 crab.
Redfish eluded me so I did not achieve the SOMD slam, but with those species totals I think I at least earned a participation trophy.
