The Chesapeake Bay is one of the few breeding grounds for Stripers, the big COWS come in here EVERY year. Regardless of whats going on with the enviroment these fish are hard-wired to spawn in the Chesapeake. They are there, but for how much longer is the question. Instead of throwing in the towel, Id be hitting it every chance I had.

Now im depressed I dont have access to my boat anymore
