I showed up late at the launch. Met J.A Veil as I was putting in. My 1st. M&G. met up with others out on the water, spare change, na sayer, finattic to name a couple. Real nice day on the water and nice people to be around, sorry I couldn't make the cookout. Almost forgot, 1 small 9" rock on a beetle spin. Went looking for his mother but she wasn't home...yet. I will be out there again soon.

Sorry I couldn't make it... looks like it was a fun time.

Way to get those stripers... strange that the WP weren't around...

I feel better that it wasn't just my lack of fishing skill that was the problem. Although I was hoping to hear that there were at least a couple of fish for the cookout. It sounds like the cookout was a good time, I'm sorry I missed it. I ended up heading into DC right after I got back in to meet up with some relatives.

I drifted and trolled out to a wreck that showed up on my gps and didn't have a nibble. Trolling back I picked up one short striper, maybe about 12", on a small jighead and 3" white curly tail that got the skunk off.

Metro, that was me out there that you thought was Bill. It must have been the hat and the hobie because I 'm not sure my legs compare to Bill's.

Well yeah, duh. I'm trying to perfect my "bill-style" fish-in-hand photos. My biggest problem so far is totally hiding the fish with my hands, or not having the same expression on each shot

1st M&G and what a great time on the water and the cook out! Nice to have others to fish with and looking forward to more. My wife asked if I caught anything after the two hour drive then rolled her eyes when I told her Zip, but it was worth it to make a few new friends.

Thanks Nay_Sayer had a great time. I caught a 9 inch rockfish early on a shad dart and grass shrimp in about 20 ft of water. Struck out at the oyster bar. Trolled a rattle trap from the oyster bar and caught a 11 inch rockfish in front of the launch in about 10 ft of water, then a 13 and 18 1/2 inch rockfish trolling the rattle trap around the jetty.

It was nice getting down and finally meeting many of you. Maybe next time the fish will be more cooperative.

Don't be surprised when I ask your names again. Names take a while to stick with me. But I will be back down and up to meeting up with and fishing with many of you.

Don't worry, with my bad memory, I always find myself asking for the real name and you online name. I am sure I will be asking again.
