Went to PLO with the plan to troll hard baits because of too many bite-offs of plastics. My plan was to troll North bayside along the causeway wall but birds where breaking sporadically nearby so I ran thru them I also stopped short and cast my spoon in the area with no hits. so I just trolled through them and caught my first rockfish. My next plan was to troll up to tanners creek and drift and cast minnows. I caught both my drums at the mouth of Tanners creek throwing minnows across the end of the north jetty there is a slight dropp-off. Any who here is the vid.

scorpioreno,
Congrats on catching those great fish. I'm hoping to return to PLO next weekend and try some new spots. I looked on the map and I can't seem to find Tanners creek.<MIKE>

Scorpioreno,
Thanks for the info. I found it. I was looking for it on the Potomac side. Do you launch at the regular PLO boat ramps and paddle around the point to get there? Or do you launch on the bay side somewhere?<MIKE>

Nothing defeats line twist like a bead chain swivel- nothing, not ball bearing swivels, not double swivel- nothing beats bead chain swivels for keeping line twist at bay- I use them when I use big spinners-"Lady Luck" 2016 Red Hibiscus Hobie Outback, Lowrance Hook2-7TS
