I hit the water around 4 to catch the end of an incoming tide. I worked my usual spots with no love. I decided to move a little further out into the channel and picked up this nice 23"er. The water was MUCH better today than Monday. Far fewer leaves and no other boats.
I had noticed a lot of small fish on the surface so I decided to focus on them on my way back in. I threw everything I had at them and finally scored about an 8" WP. I'm not sure it was schooled up WP breaking the surface, though. Maybe bait??? I'm talking about a LOT of top water action. Nothing looked very big, but I'm not sure what they were doing or feeding on.
So...on my way back in I see a fox running along the beach. Pretty cool, but then I started thinking about how I was going to get my stuff back to the truck - multiple trips - without the fox stealing my fish. Decided to put the fish in the truck and come back for the yak. When I got back down I took the second pic. Anybody see anything wrong with this pic??? Yes, that is my yak, and yes, I took the pic...
