Fished the bridge today after work with Redfish. Thunderstorms cleared out so we were able to get a few hours of fishing. Caught a 23 and missed a nice feeesh who snapped my line. Redfish ended up with 25 and a fat 32. Also, caught some nice croaker up to 13inches. Fish were caught live lining spot and perch. Spot are still pretty scarce but they should arrive in good numbers in the next couple weeks.

Does cut/frozen spot produce any results at the BB? Live lining is best, but I still have some frozen ones leftover that need to be used.

Nice fish! Looks like it was a great night out on the water. How was the big one that snapped the line? Maybe a ray or did it fight more like a gamefish?

It was def a striper. I fought it for a sec and then it started to wrap itself around the pilon so I thumbed the spool and my leader broke. Not sure if the line grazed the pilon but it snapped as soon as I thumbed the spool. Upper 20's, lower 30's maybe. I blame Redfish for giving me faulty flouro!

I would say live lining or jigging will produce better results but boaters are catching stripers chunking bait out there.
