Nice job on the reds. Given a choice between flounder and reds, I will take reds any time -- both for fight and for flavor at the table.

That's great. I agree with John. I would go for Redfish over flounder any day. That must have been great fun.

I used to fish for flounder in that area years ago. It is nothing like it was back then. You could catch keeper flounder all day long. It is really shameful what has happen to the fisheries along the East coast.

Great looking reds! Nice job on the flounder too. Gotta love fall fishing.

I entered a flounder / fluke kayak fishing tournament in Jersey at the end of July. Great 2 day event. Fished the Manasquan River and had over (80) flounder for the two days. (Only two were legal. Needed to be 17.5”). Encouraging though for the future. Wife fished it as well and caught a bunch. The guys that fished 20 miles north at Sandy Hook had the same deal with a ton of shorts, (Again, that's encouraging). Many caught at least one 24” + up there.

Wow, nice fish. The flounder bite might've been tough, but it looks like you were plenty busy.
