Was glad to see some new faces this morning, can't remember everybody's name, but please add your info on this thread. I know J.A.Veil, Raptor, and Pc4sun all caught fish with Raptor pulling in about a 32" Striper. I had a total of 3 with the smallest being 15". Now here comes the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly fish story: I was trolling across the Severn and thought I hooked something on the bottom. When I went to turn my kayak the fishing line got tangled in my rudder. I laid my rod down and unhooked the line from the rudder. I picked the rod back up and started reeling to pull my self to where I thought I was hooked. I then had the line start pulling SLOWLY in the other direction. After a brief fight I pulled up one of the largest Stripers I had hooked. I got him to the side of the yak, grabbed my fish grips to get a good hold, (all the while thinking what a great picture this is going to be) and it spit my lure out and away it went. Worst moment of the day but the second worst moment was when I landed a 15" striper, did take a photo of it, and lost my rod overboard never to be seen or heard from again. Only good thing is that it was not one of my fine fly rods.
All-in-all a good day.
I think the picture of the kayaker was dkwon
