I should be able to make it...

We talked about this at the December meet and greet, but I think we should do a February meet and greet on the Susky for yellow perch. Im hoping that they will be in full swing by the first weeked. Launch at jean roberts park. I dont know whats good around there for lunch though...

A well kept secret is you can catch tarpon in Virgina- Fishing at night with live bait in the channels around Chinoteague mid July time frame seems best for hooking up Virginia Tarpon....or fishing Palmico Sound, NC in late June for NC tarpon...but a hundred pound jumping fish in your lap at midnight isn't for the faint of heart...be prepared for big lemon and bull sharks to eat your tarpon baits...when I used to do this I only used 80# mono leaders to get cutoff by sharks...and every so often the hook would be in the corner of their mouth and you would be in for a long and grueling slugfest with a 200-300 pound shark...of course I was NOT fishing from a kayak back in the day...and I was young, dumb and full of........we would take a single three inch diameter scale as our trophy and engrave the date....now days the fish experts tell us not to pull a scale, that can cause death in the fish...we have hooked up tarpon at the CBBT in July fishing for Cobia around Lattimer Shoals...they do come inside the Bay but mostly around the eastern span of the bridge around Fisherman's Island.

I don't know if you guys have been to Arundel Mills Mall on a weekend but good luck! Sometimes it is a madhouse and packed to the gills. Might be tough getting seating for all.

I think we'll be ok after the holidays. The mall generally gets quiet about this time. At least thats been my experience. Thats about the time that my wife and I feel safe to go shopping or to a movie. Hey SD, Do you want to make a reservation for about 12-15 people for the 14th just to cover our bases... Just in case? We could always go across the hall to Dave and Busters. Cheap food and plenty of table space. Not to mention that they have BEER!!!
