Thanks moc! Yup, the last time we met was at the oc m&g. I knew that m&g would be my last time on the water for a while, with our second son coming in October. Things have settled down now, and my wife is more willing to allow me to leave the houseOriginally posted by moc View PostIt will be good seeing you anyway SUN. The last time that I could remember fishing with you was at the M&G at OC.
. I'm looking forward to this m&g.

If there is one place that should be given serious consideration it is the upper Potomac River. It is easy access, with ramps all along the C&O canal. Everyone would catch lots of fish. The place is also picturesque. The ramp near Knoxville is not far from the hi-way and is near the Hillside Inn. The Hillside store has tackle and bait, if needed. If this is done in May or June the water may still be cool enough for the walleye and musky. Just a suggestion that it may be a very fun place to have a meet and greet.
One suggestion, as the river conditions are fragile to rain, is to also select an alternate in the case of rain, for any date on the upper Potomac.
In any case this is a place that take you back in time.

I will be there and taking payment for the flea market if anyone wants to pay early. You can still pay at the door if you reserve a spot with me prior to selling out. If you want a spot/table, just call me or post it on the link to the Flea Market/Swap Meet on the Main forum. Tables provided with space for $10. It appears as though this is gonna be a huge turnout. I'm wearing my orange shirt! Who else is game???
Thanks,
Tom

Welcome aboard PotomacTide. The more the merrier.... I sure you are not going to be the only late RSVP. The RSVP is not made in stone. It is just to give us an "idea" of how many kayak anglers to expect. Look forward to seeing you.Originally posted by PotomacTide View PostHope its not too late to RSVP... Updated today Jan 14th 2012.
Just to help out, here was the preliminary M&G Schedule that we had for 2011made up by Bryan. You can use this as a starting framework. There might be locations in this M&G that most may want to repeat, or move around depending on when particular species are in abundance in the area. I have also included an attachment on a format that list the dates and possible locations for the M&G. Download it and print it out. It is in PDF format. Bring it with you to the M&G and we can change it and fill it in. Like I mentioned before, I can add tentative locations in the list now just to make it easier for us to discuss on the 14th.
This list was updated Jan 14th at 11:09am. So download and print it for any updates. It includes the tentative attendee list as of this morning so everyone can have an idea of who they are meeting, especially for the first timers.
Here is the link to the 2012 M&G tentative worksheet

I have talked to the owner of Spinnakers restaraunt in Ridge. They'd love to have us after the PLO Meet and Greet. Really great place with reasonable food right on Smith Creek (located in Point Lookout Marina).14.5 ft Sand colored Malibu X-Factor "the promise"
