Thanks for the Recon effort at Joppatown. At least we can feel better about the Susky. Hopefully with this cold weather coming through, it will trigger any possible spawning run. So far for Saturday it looks partly sunny with temps around 37 degrees.... Winds 11 going to 9 mph in the evening.

I fished the quarry. It's usually one of my favorite places to fish but not this time. I did not venture down into Mariner Point. Perhaps there were fish there

Ummmm of course I would not be giving the temps of Baltimore. If you just go to weather.com and type in Perryville, MD that is the temps that they posted that I reported (at least as of today) . When fishing time gets closer, then I will look more into the marine and wind forecast for that area on the Susky. I never trust the weatherman.... they always seemed to get the forecast wrong.

You can get a 1/2 pint or whole pint. I usually get a half pint and still have enough for two trips even after some die between trips.

If there is nothing next to your name, I have not heard from you in a while and don't know if you are coming for sure or not. Please let me know just in case I need to call Tidewater Grille to adjust our reservation for lunch...
Also, if anybody can ride together its probably a good idea due to the limited parking at Jean Roberts. If anyone wants to ride with me let me know, I have room for one other kayak on my roof, but it would have to be lighter than 55lbs (so probably couldn't be another hobie...) PM me if you're interested.Last edited by Shady; 02-08-2012, 11:23 PM.

Yes, it actually does cut the wind pretty well.

Cool, good to know. It can be hard for me to tell from Google Earth sometimes. I looks like that's where Joe had luck last year, and it would be nice to fish in a sheltered spot. Heard any reports lately? One guy posted a good report on Tidalfish, but I don't know where he was fishing.Yellow Hobie Revo Rube Goldberg

I think I will sit this one out in the comfort of my nice warm living room kicked back in my big overstuffed easy chair- sounds like it could be the coldest day of 2012 coming up- While we haven't had a lot of winter, Saturday is looking like a typical February cold, windy winter day- 70% chance of snow, high temps by 3 pm is supposed to be 35 degrees- and winds out of the Northwest gusting- Burrrrr!Last edited by ronaultmtd; 02-09-2012, 09:32 AM."Lady Luck" 2016 Red Hibiscus Hobie Outback, Lowrance Hook2-7TS
