Moc, you can add myself and medicyaker to your list.

I am taking off Friday too. However I will have to work until 11:30 Thursday night. We might head down then. Not sure yet. We are also looking to fish Sunday as well.

        I-64 Paving

FYI... Weekend closures for maintenance on I-64 east Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel (HRBT) and the Route 17 south James River Bridge (JRB). All eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 at the HRBT will be closed for paving operations on three consecutive weekends (Sept. 14., Sept. 21 and a rain date of Sept. 28). The closures will begin at 9 p.m. Friday and conclude by 5 a.m.

        Plan your trip accordingly.

Tyler and I plan to meet up Thursday night in Cambridge... Then head down to Kipto. If its nice maybe we will fish, or we may just sleep until the morning and wake up and fish the ships for flounder. Before heading over to the captains meeting. I plan to Harwood Mills on Saturday for the LArgmouth division. Then Sunday we hope to be able to fish CBBT for whatever is biting.

Probably gonna sleep at Oceans East Camp Site.

I'm in. Where is everybody staying. I read this thread and still have no clue. I've never kayak fished south of Kipto.

Myself and Rockchaser always star at the Lake Wright where the Tournament is held. It is just easy for me, so I can just walk to the Captains Meeting and the Award event on Sat. I am booked for Friday and Saturday night. So is Rockchaser and a few others.

Ah ok, the Quality Suites...ok thanks. I am gonna get there sometime on Friday. I am hoping to fish on Friday morning with a local guide using the 1/2 day trip I won at the CBKA tournament. We'll see.

Excellent. What good luck. The stars must have been in alignment for you. I too plan to fish somewhere Friday morning, then check into the Hotel. I will fish Sunday morning when I check out assuming good weather.
