Due to weather concerns, I may go on Sunday if anyone else decides to go. Sunday is predicted to be 5mph winds and 49 degrees ( 37 degrees in the morning) with partly cloudy skies. Sat is 40 degrees (26 degrees in the morning) with 19mph winds.

I'll go Sat or Sun, whichever..I've caught more crappie during high tide at Occoquan. Saturdays wind isn't necessarily a bad thing, more often as the chop picks up so does the bite. I've experience good action jigging for crappie in windy conditions. The wind does have an effect on keeping a position over the bite but the wind doesn't effect jigging. Crappies are spooked easily (especially during the spawn) and having a little chop caused by the wind, helps camouflage sound, sight and aids in finessing the lure.Yellow Submarine - Hobie PA
