If you haven't gone yet, then like Chexone, I will take a 1/2 pint. I will make sure to bring my minnow bucket and $4 for you.

You can also pick up minnows at Bowley's Tackle on eastern ave in Bowleys corner ........ it's semi on the way ........ get off of 95 onto 43 east to left on eastern ave ...... it's just a couple of miles out of the way ....... call them for hours availability and to confirm the directions ...........

Just got back from there a few minutes ago with a half pint on my way home from work. The sign on the door states they will open at 6am Saturday and Sunday mornings. I know sometimes bait shops will make their own hours and it's not written in stone.

I'm still going. Does the parking lot have room for a trailer?

The Jean Robert's parking lot does have room for trailers. You'll have to pay the fee though... not sure how much. It's free for cartopped kayaks.

Late to the party... But I'm hoping to make it out too. I don't think I'll be able to make lunch though.

Good luck all. I had hoped to be there but I am now on my eighth day, down and out, with the flu. I get a flu shot every year but I just saw on news that it only has a ten percent success rate for us old geezers. Tightlines to everyone and enjoy lunch.

It was cold and drizzly all day and the fish didnt cooperate to well. I believe out of 15 or more kayakers we managed 6-8 keeper yellow perch along with some shorts and also a few channel catfish. I ended up catching 8 perch, with two of them being keepers and one huge channel cat with a yakside release.

Other than that I think everyone had a good time and enjoyed lunch. I'm sure some others will post more detailed reports. Sorry, I didnt take any pictures.
