I will be there & plan on launching up top at the 225 bridge. I'm curious to see how all the rain water affects the largemouth fishing.

Sorry guys, but after all this rain expected today, I'm going to fish somewhere closer to home. Hope you guys catch a bunch!

Same here. Would love to not have all this rain the day before. Forecast for tomorrow keeps changing.

I could always install my Scotty mounts so they're on for the next M&G.

Yeah, I saw the latest weather forecast and the rain should stop at midnight tonight or there about, Partly cloudy tomorrow, temps up to 78 degrees and the winds surprisingly calm at 8 to 10mph. Mattawoman is a little protected too, so the winds will seem even lighter. Remember if you go fishing, to bring fishfinder rigs and top and bottom rigs with bait. With the rain you want the fish to find your hook with scent. Good luck everyone.

Guys who do guy if your targeting bass they will hold to cover VERY tight in muddy water, you gota hit em in the head with texas rigged worms. Rattle traps, buzz baits. and chatter baits. But they will hit. You will also find them on the edge of excessive muddy water and clearer water.

good luck to all. I am staying closer to home.

I've always had luck with dark colored spinnerbaits, texas rigs, and jigs for LMB in muddy water. Granted this was in Georgia, but I doubt it's too much different here.

Yep, I'm thinking this combination off really off color water and water temperature is going to put those bass in predictable locations. I can feel that 6 pounder protesting on the end of my line already!

I'd like to see a post spawn double digit. That bass would need to be at least 26 inches long.
