      Meado---I got ya!

Moc--- I was thinking about that (bucket-0-gear raffle)just today! With so many fisherman I think that would be super great!. Let's all do it! Everyone bring a lure or other gear to place in the bucket and we'll draw for the prize at lunch.

I'll be getting data gathered on who all is planning to eat lunch so I can ensure enough seats at Spinnakers

If a lot comes to lunch, then we can give out 1, 2, or 3 buckets?

Add me to the list, Kevin! I'll be there to fish, but can't make it to lunch.

I am planning on attending. I'm new the forum and looking forward to meeting some of you all. If weather becomes an issue and you guys end up fishing St. Jerome Creek, I live on the creek and have a private ramp and dock area. It's a little more than a mile from the mouth but I'm sure that's nothing for you guys. My new kayak is on order and being shipped now, hopefully I'll be fishing by the end of next week. I'll probably borrow a friends kayak if mine doesn't show up from Hobie by the event.

i'm a newb here and just started kayak fishing this past summer. not sure if i'd be able to make this trip you guys are planning but will there be others planned in the near future? do any of you frequent this area or creeks? i've been fishing off and on point lookout area for the past 20 years. anyways, just wanted to say hello as today i registered and want to get to know some fellow kayak anglers. i live up in northern va but am willing to take the drive down to do some quality fishing with people who love to fish as much as i do.

tell me....during these times what would you recommend for the following:
                        gear? (clothes)
                        lure suggestions?

This is our monthly meet and greet for newbies and experienced kayakers. Everyone is welcome. Some take it as a time to learn other methods of rigging your kayak and or other for fishing techniques or just company on the water. It is a chance to try out locations with other kayakers that you may not have fished before. The lunch is always fun since that is when you can talk and ask questions and get to know new fishing buddies or re-acquaint yourselves with old friends. Even if you cannot make it on the water, you can always go to the lunch and catch up.

Water temps are down so you'll need waders or dry suit. somewhere in the archives is advice on this cold weather yakking but we are fishing together which adds to dsafety, but good pfd, waders and waterproof top are basic coldweather safety gear.

If anyone needs it I can bring a spare pair of neoprene chest waders. I'm 6'1" 210lbs and they fit perfectly..could get away with more or less
