I fish it like a pencil where I am constantly banging the rod. The sluggos will dance on the water. I sometimes use three of the heavier sluggo weight, two tail one head when I run it a little deeper. Sometimes I use a heavy jig head when running really deep in canals or fast running jetties.
I am not sure how to use them on kayak yet, but they are one of my goto's for surf so, will deffinitey put in some hours to figure it out.
